Since the new look, we've had a few requests to ditch the "make my eyes bleed red." We've decided to stick with the current red as the default to somewhat identify with our Canadian roots, but we've implemented a system for registered users to somewhat control/customize the look of the site. If you're logged in, you can use one of the buttons in this post to change your scheme - if you're not, you probably can't see the images below!

We've gone ahead and finished what we had planned for the main page today and then some - we had originally wanted to paginate the main page to reduce the server load upon entering the site, and in doing so seems to have fixed the random server bannings (fingers crossed!). We're guessing it didn't like people randomly trying to load 700-800 images at once. Anyway, not that it matters, news posts are now clickable.
And now what you've been waiting for; see that box on the right side of your screen? The biggish one with the colours? It now lists the 15 most recent games to have either risen from the dead or died off from the promotional qualifiers list at EB Games. For the laymen: green titles are now good for trade fodder and red titles are going to have to sit on your shelf (or the stores shelf!) a little while longer. If you forget how it works, we've implemented an instruction system - mouseover the header image to see what's up.

So the News section/main page finally gets paging, which should greatly reduce load times for people who hit the index. No more loading ~700 images! Also, we think this may have been an issue in causing some of the host-blocking, so we'll ride it out and see if the issue is resolved. Also, we'll be updating the news page further today by implementing a separate page feature by date - which will eventually hopefully be commentable and should help with search engine indexing.

The epic Clash of the Titans, which probably sounds better than it plays, as well as BlazBlue: Continuum Shift - follow up to the sleeper hit and collector's item for years to come. Not much else - probably in fear of the predictably-massive StarCraft II sales.

DarkStar One! Mana Khemia: Student Alliance! TrackMania (before getting postponed - added in case some people have it)!

The much-awaited Crackdown 2 (although performing well under the ratings of its predecessor) as well as the movie tie-in of the will-be-popular Despicable Me hit stores today, as well as the latest NCAA Football incarnation, the new Harvest Moon, Tournament of Legends (which is generating some hype) and in some places, The Bachelor: The Video Game.
