Did you know that this site survives solely off ad revenue?
Today we submitted our TIVS.ca (under the name "Trade in Values Canada") app to the app store with a tentative release date of July 1st - pending approval. While July 1st would be a nice launch date to commemorate Canada Day, the App store's negative air could mean a delay as much as two weeks later than that. We initially scrapped the prize giveaway and instead invested the money (and time) into our Apple developers license, which will bring this app to you, and hopefully in turn more users to us. As always, the more users we have regularly using the site, the more values will be regularly updated!
Having said that, hopefully the revenue generated from the ad-supported outlets of TIVS.ca will allow us to continue to expand the application, hopefully spread to other platforms, and give away more prizes to the people that keep this site running. By prizes, we mostly mean games and/or gift cards. For screenshots and more information, check out the
