TIVS.ca Finally Launches a Community Forum

In some rather exciting news in what seems like a dull update cycle since the release of games slowed to a halt, tivs.ca is happy to announce that we've created a
trade in values forum - and finally put to use our (old) 'People' heading in the navigation menu.
It is worth noting that
users are required to re-register. Yes, this is a pain in the ass - but we assure you that this will be the only time we coerce you into creating two accounts. You will still be required to login using your old account (we recommend for now to just use the same password for both) to submit new trade in values, but this will soon be phased into the phpBB user account you will hopefully create. All existing points and game collections will be transferred over to your new account
based on the user account email address. If you signed up using a different email address, let us know by
contacting us or posting on the forums.
Additionally, for you users asking "but why should I post on
your forums, I already post on other forums regarding trade in values?" will be pleased to know that posting on our forums supports a unique BBCode tag - [tivs][/tivs]. Anything posted within these tags is currently formatted to be displayed in a consistent manner, and
automatically submitted to the site as a suggestion on your behalf. Alright, as of now it only formats it and prints it prettily, but the printing involves links directly to the game you posted and makes it easy for you/somebody else to submit the values. Once the user accounts have been successfully merged, we assure you that this feature will be finished. For those interested in this feature, check out our post detailing

If we still haven't sold you, we're working on some nice community features, will support mass messaging and private groups (for all you niche people out there), and will hopefully be able to ride the deals before all the leechers of other more massive forums are able to bleed them dry. Enjoy!
